Requirements

Performing an authentic Pind Daan requires specific sacred materials that carry high spiritual vibrations. The primary requirement is the ‘Pinda,’ prepared using cooked rice or barley flour mixed with black sesame seeds, honey, and ghee. You will also need Kusha grass (sacred darbha), which acts as a purifier, along with Ganga Jal for abhishekam.
